Dill Bread Mix

 
Grocery List or things you need to be sure you have on hand:  3 C. flour 1 T. sugar 1 T. dried minced onion (opt.) 1 T. dry milk powder 1 T. dill seed 1 pkg. active dry yeast
Approximate Preparation Time:  10 min
Ease of Preparation:  Very Easy

List of Ingredients:

3 C. flour,1 T. sugar, 1 T. dried minced onion (opt.), 1 T. dry milk powder, 1 T. dill seed, 1 pkg. active dry yeast (Package of active dry yeast can be stored in the container unopened until time of preparation.

 

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, dry milk powder, dried minced onion (optional), dill seed, and salt. Mix together thoroughly. Put in a large airtight container. Label, store in a cool, dry place.  Makes 1 loaf

Hints, Tips and Variations:  this mix will keep for 6 to 8 months in a large airtight container.
Good Cooks Tell All:   I like this just as well without the onion, but you can try it either way. You can also buy it prepackaged from us with or without the onion.
